As a candidate for Town Council, I am motivated by a desire to serve and protect Hilton Head Island’s unique beauty and preserve its natural character for future generations.

With a focus on environmental stewardship, community engagement, and inclusive decision-making, I am dedicated to working towards a brighter future for our residents.

I find joy in giving back to our community, through coaching youth sports and hosting gatherings at my home, fondly known as Anthony Manor. During times of crisis such as Hurricane Matthew, I was able stay on the Island to assist others by offering transportation and organizing cleanup efforts. This was something that allowed me to give back to a community that had given me and my family so much. My values of faith, family, and country guide everything that I do. I believe in the power of community and kindness above all.

Family

I am a proud resident of Hilton Head Island. I was born and raised in rural Ohio, with a strong upbringing in farming. Witnessing the destruction of our family farm due to mineral rights issues, sparked a lifelong commitment to conservancy and environmental protection. Moving to Hilton Head Island in 1984, I met my wife, Dee. Together we have built a beautiful family, with three sons and four grandchildren, who all call this Island home. Dee is a seventh generation South Carolinian. She was raised in the Lowcountry and has called Hilton Head Island home her entire life. Together, we share a love and passion for this beautiful Island.
Our children and grandchildren were born and raised here. This is our home.

With nearly 40 years of experience in property renovation on Hilton Head Island I have developed a deep understanding of the intricacies of our community's needs and changes.
Through my successful renovation company, I have cultivated strong relationships with clients, residents, and my community. These relationships have given me a unique perspective on how to address challenges and foster improvement where needed.
